Yes, very…
It is extraordinary the intense color and vibrancy of the rodos at this time of the year…
What is even more extraordinary is that the camera gets “overwhelmed and confused” and it tries to “adjust” ruins the pics…
I have been unable to photograph - with the exception – any other reds, corals, oranges, they show as white or overexposed and unfortunately I don’t have a manual setting in this camera… ouch, ouch, ouch,
Can’t share with you the orgy of colour
Oh… and the intoxicating scents in the air… it is a sensory pow-wow!!!

Nature can be very beautiful.

Camera getting overwhelmed? Are you using a digital camera? Try using a manual camera, sometimes old fashioned things work the best.

Absolutely Metalchick.
The problem is that my beloved reflex Olympus does not want to resurrect - and film costs are prohibitive the way I use the camera... so, neither one is the solution for my present dilema.

If your old camera had a UV filter, or better still a polarizing filter, you could hold that in front of the lens on your digital to correct some of the glare.

I'm certainly envious of these displays. In Britsland at present it's been REALLY cold, wet and dark. And this is May nearly over!

Ian, thank you for the filter idea!
Had them in my hands a few days ago... yes, why not?

We had a wintery weekend. It has been really wet and cold - totally unseasonal!
