TESTING.... TESTING....
I spent yesterday "testing" papers and watercolors brands... As for the paper, me expensive Dutch one which texture I love to feel, I am not so sure I like so much to paint on (in?) as it appears to "suck the life out" of some works such as the one directly bellow...

"Inside the Box"
"Spontaneous Chaos"

"Stained Glass Lotus "

"Lone Poppy"

"Paz" - heavier paper - 12" x 16"

Tiny sketch *Has found a good home...

All in all I had a great day! Besides experiences differences in paper and colour I was extremely pleased at the end of it. I was filed with a sense of accomplishment and joy. Managed to feed myself about 9:30PM - Now, if I could loose a few more pounds... just like that! (But, them thre will be much less of me to love - bummer!)

Love, joy and blessings for a playful and relaxing weekend... -.a.-

PS.: Two hours later - You could have knocked me over with a feather... I have just discovered that if I click on the image of a painting - it enlarges it! If you a chuckling now, don't tell me!

I think you have produced a series of very lovely water colours...yes if u click on my present series on Joy, you will see the serrated edges left by the candle is rather interesting, use a chinese brush and with a touch of black or another colour run the brush along the margins of those serrations and u will be surprised with the overall results later, for example if the area is yellow, chinese-brushed the serrated edges with red, u get a fine thin margin of bright red and there is also a running of some red into the yellow, a merging, a slow change of hue, do it while the yellow is still wet. The throwing of colours that I suggested works poorly with a small piece of paper but with a large piece, you can make up for those places you did not like...Ah, all these very layman language but have fun, I would really love to own a piece of any of the above...then I would always have angel dust in my home, perhaps even the fragrance and the palpability of the treasure!!!!!Have a Good weekend

Kianseng dear,

I was looking forward to your visit although I just posted this afternoon. I was “studying” (actually scrutinizing) your while I accidentally clicked and it enlarged giving me an opportunity to see that there IS a sketch underneath them. I like the candles as well as the crayolas, but I think I will tick to the lightest fluorescent ones – like in “Nautilus Eye”.
I don’t quiet understand the use of the Chinese brush (got some!), will have to observe detail of yours closer…
Ah, Sensei in the distance – so grateful I am for your kind mentoring and, your supporting words.

My occupation, you ask?
I am “transitioning” to full time “Artist”, from (still) Facilitator and Speaker, which has been my main focus these past four years.
I have had “quiet a full life” and I am blessed with a creative streak that I apply to everything – thought, people, things, space……
I free-lanced most of my life, but my main occupation for more than 25yrs.
has been that of Interpreter and Translator.

I am still curios about “dream maker”… sounds like the perfect “occupation”.

Blessings and angel dust sprinklings of joy

I have to say that it is hard to me to present my thoughts and feelings. I try, but it takes me much time.I have to look to dictionary offten. I make many errors. I study English only by myself and when I write to you it is my best lesson! But sorry for errors!
I admire your job! Pictures are great! When I visit you I am playing upon heartstrings! Thanks.

Serenity dearest

Thank you for your loving and encouraging words - we all need to feel supported, cared for...

It is great news to know you are going to get your hands back into watercolours - that's is fabulous!
Now, we (together with Kianseng) might be able to form the first watercolour light/loooooooooove connections... lol
Painting is so (intense and at the same time so playful to me.
Looking forward to exchanges of all sorts - including mischief

Love and joy flowing to you this weekend

Ohhhh Krystyna,
how wonderful that you are writing to me such wonderful comments.
How wonderful you are reaching out in such “courageous” way. You are safe among friends.

I am an immigrant myself and know well how hard it is to adjust to a new country, language and culture.

Please, feel free to practice with me - don't worry about "mistake", and no more “sorry” just talk to me! It is all OK.

Blessings, love and much joy to you

These are lovely--you've been hard at work, or perhaps it is better stated that your imagination has been hard at work, and you hard at work at putting that as accurately on paper as possible. I am absolutely loving the colors and the concepts--I have tried my hand of late with watercolor, and I find myself to be too much of a realist--I need to start imaginging colors and thoughts without worrying about how "realistic" that tree looks.

Hi Angel Dust,
I thought I'd posted a comment here, but it was that day when I only looked halway down the post.

I recognised Sedna had been here, she's away for a few days
but she has some amazing passion filled love poetry in Spanish, if you check out her place
