Yes dear Trinitystar

there is a Small Country made of small islands in the Pacific that has not much time as its highest point is 6 metres!
They have already lost a lot of homes and land lately at allarming rates.
The population will have to evacuated to a "brand new" host country.
Autralia is taking them in as "Climate Change Refugees"
No kidding, saw the doc. last night.
Imagine what THAT will be!
Climate Change Refugees...

Big HUg and Happy Easter, may it bring many blessings your way

Hello Anne-MArie dearest

Frankly donno when it is going to end.
Our rivers are at the highest levels ever, just inches (or milimiters!) away from flooding and we did not even start with the Spring run-offs.
It has proven to be a catastrophic season, houses are still sliding down hills. Three last week, with hours notice where people could only rescue what they carried in their arms...simply mind-boggling.
It makes me sick to my stomack just to watch while holding my breath.

I tell you, SAD has almost taken my life over - I have been literally dragging myself - when I can - everywhere.
Progress is slow and not so steady and I am behind all sorts of things, with no motivation to speak of.
Thanks GOd I started with the framing/matting three months ahead of time. I'm still in the midst of it.
It should have taken no more than a week!

((Big hug))
Happy Easter and lots of love and joy to yous

Thank you for dropping in, much appreciated!

Hi Alicia,
Sorry that SAD has affected you so drastically. I dragged around for a lot of February and the break in California was instrumental in getting me over the hump. I can see spring coming now, despite the flurries coming day after tomorrow, so I am willing myself to just plough through.

Best of luck to you, my dear. I hope the weather changes for the better soon.

Dearest Angeldust, Been to ever flowing Ganges a couple of weeks ago, I saw water everywhere in my last two visits. This time I saw a big chunk of an island in the river, water level has come down drastically. If mother ganga dries up, it will be the end of the world said my boatman. Rivers have already gone dry in South India, There is only one river in south which has some water, river Cauvery, and three states, Tamil Nadu Kerala and Karnataka are fighting over it, causing riots strikes. Matters have gone to supreme court. More riots when decision came. I am afraid to speak in Tamil in Karnataka, I would get bashed up. They smash any vehicle with Tamil nadu registration numbers. Fight for water has already begun, people would be killing each other for a pot of water. In my city of Chennai, water comes in trucks. When the truck comes, fights break out. Killing will follow soon.
Yes Angeldust, soon there would be climatic change migration.

Dearest Ruaf
reading your words deeply saddens me...
Do be careful on your trips!
Was that the time your bus was held up for three days?

We have to pray for mother ganga not to dry up - only a miracle can save us now (?)

Similar situations are being experienced in Africa where lakes are but half the size they used to be.
Also, the Southern tip of South America (and Antartica) are experiecing visible changes.

I was recently reading that the Maldives are also slowly being submerged...

There is a town looking for relocation on the PAcific Coast of Alaska as it is being claimed by the waters, also a couple of other towns in a cople of our northern provinces...

It was annouced today at one of our Provinces that there were bringing about regulations to safegued water for everyones use...

HEaring that your are getting your water trucked in makes me feel very guilty about my indulgence in its use - the lack of it represents certain death.

Can you even imagine the horror When the migration will begin - it will get quiet ugly - this is one topic that I have not heard anyone talk about, yet!

Huge loving hug
