"Life is a process of becoming,
a combination of states
we have to go through.
Where people fail
is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it.
This is a kind of death."
~ Anais Nin ~

What a wonderful saying!

I loved your set of flowers, etc above - so very refreshing!

Agreeing with Katie's comments. This is a deep statement, thought provoking. Apparently I am still under construction....LOL
Happy to be able to leave a comment. Isn't it interesting how we get attached to certain areas for a welcoming visit. Love from here to there :)

Hi Alicia,
I was trying to comment on your beautiful flower photos, but comments have been disabled up above. So I'll just wave hello from down here and tell you how gorgeous and springlike they are!

I hope you're well!

It's so easy to find a niche and hole -in, isn't it...but I don't know that we can choose to stay in a state... usually there's something of life that winkles us out of our chosen hole, isn't there!

I was trying to say for your next post how gorgeous are the pictures (I especially love the raindrop on the big leaf (hosta?) 3/4 way down - just my kind of picture!)...I don't know if you've got the comments deliberately disabled, but I thought I'd say something as my last post, blogger disabled the comments without my knowledge! :-S

You're quite a photographer! Love it!
