I began working in mid-December on a new series. As you have observed through time I have a thing not only for photography but also for a deliciously moody sky... I dug up some of the pics and went to work.
Above is one example; posted a few on side bar at studiogaleria click. Still a work in progress, hindered by the cold and humid temperatures we have been experiencing...
Hope that I can manage the finishing steps and touch-ups by the end of the week, as I hope to hang them at the White Rock Museum and Archives Exhibit I am having from tomorrow until the end of February. This is quiet exciting!!!

near pastels, the painting looks three dimensional.
i think your work should have no time constraints.
Happy Birthday to you.
Wish you all the peace in the world Alicia.
love and hugs
Thank you dearest Rauf
for both your birthday wishes and
the compliment... :)
I think I "stumbled" on something that may be of wider appeal than my brainy squiggles - lol
I am also enjoying this series, eltough is a change over to acrylics - never my favorite... but, in away more pratical in our hurried lifestyle
Love and hugs dear friend
hope your birthday went down just fabulously well!
That sounds great. Although I truly dislike cold weather, and certainly all of this snow is awful up here. However, there is a lot of opportunity for photography even in this season--maybe I'll go on an expedition to that effect tomorrow. At any rate--lovely artwork. I hope you're having fun with it.
These are awesome yet delicate works of art!
