I'm going to guess a peach pit--on the beach, discarded, with a piece of seaweed underneath.
I know I am probably way, way off...but I like the detail and the placement in the sand in this photo, regardless of my inability to identify it correctly...;-).
saw you over at Sublime's Blog, so.. curious about the mystery photo came over to check it out and lo' and behold, a Whitrockian! -- too kool, my fave restaurant there is - i keep forgetting the name - Ghecko Grill i think...anyway...the photo...looks a bit like a clam covered in barnacles, or a strangly shaped rock, covered in barnacles.... when will you tell us what it is?

yes, Angeldust, i agree --- healthy intrigue indeed! - i will be checking back periodically to see what the mystery photo is...
went out for my walk, had not gone two blocks and i had to come home...wayyyyy toooooo HOT for me, lol
