All of which, up until only a couple of weeks ago, was going to be documented on blogger (mostly in Spanish with photos...)
As it turned out, blogger is censured in China and not available - however, they located a recent posting from the area that indicates there might be a small chance!
Best wishes for the (second time around - another route) adventure - one filled with wonder, peace, health and many joys along the road... starting out in Yunnan Province, China - as in "The eastern Himalayas of northwest Yunnan Province, China, designated a Global Biodiversity Hotspot by Conservation International"

"A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. " - Albert Einstein -
Updates: August 14
Nómada and the expedition reached the city of Dali, Yunnan after spending a few days in Beijing. They managed to post a narrative on their blog. No photos yet.

Niiice, eh?
I am going (being taken) in spirit.
I am - believe it or not - terribly exited!
(Will even have "Wacky BAg" material from it!)
:)
re: my York post ...yes "angeldust"; when one time-travels too fast i guess one risks missing things, eh? he he heh!
aside from the wonderful journey Nomada and friends are embarking upon...
yes, "dragonfly filly" ... on the topic of time-travel, I sure like to be in anne-marie's "warp"
holllly-molllly!!!
Oh, well I am just a frog/hare/crane? angeldust distributor combo...
That would be so cool to climb the Himalayas... I would definetly have to get more physically fit. I will climb those mountains! IN fact i am making up my mind to do so... hmm. i wonder how much that is going to cost.
Dear Kora
For what I could see (photos and narrative) of their previous expedition - most of the "fun" is getting there - the scenery, the villages, the people, the culture - as opposed to the stark ice and brutal conditions... (and the unnecessary risk of remaining frozen "up there", totally foolish in my opinion)
hi "angeldust; YOUR jam was extremely delicious too, but i forgot what kind it is?????
Dear PJ, yes - how wonderful it would be to treck the Himalayas and have some extraordinary experiences along the way - it probably has an incredible "energy" all around - and possibly some berries along the way....
I wonder if one could find blueberries at that altitute?
huh? "angeldust" which date? there is nothing written on the jar, if that is what you mean.
What a fabulous 'scursion! My very best wishes go with them all!
