"Dream A little Dream"

And now, after this rather "labored" post, I am going to go for my first "Nordic Pole Walk" , since I figure Pole Dancing is out for me - not being able to imagine hoisting myself up one of those!

Angeldust, the earth series is really stunning, I wish I have your eye for colours. Now you must go further. Do two paper batik, try using just bright colours and nearly the same colours in both, say in the first use mainly yellow, orange, red, use the same three in the second but add a dash of blue and green. When you finish, take photographs of both, then use picassa or photoshop, photostudio and then superimpose one on the other...you will get paperbatik montage, you will be surprise at the results, of course you cannot sell the montage but you can print it out!!!! Next try the rice paper method I told you about (did I not?) If I did not drop a note at my blog and I will get back to you, You and Serenity are a blessed creative pair, very very very creative and very right brained!

Dear PlusUltra (and Sylvia?)

Thank you for your words.
Yeah... there is something about the "Earth" series...
Today I got a bid to match the reserve I had on the first one. (ahhh!!!)
I also cried because it means I do have to part with it!

I finally located some wonderful rice paper 38" x 50' After running all over three Cities in the
the lower mainland.

I will try to follow your advise closely - in 2-3 weeks as I need to put my focus somewhere else for a bit.
Regarding the "montage" I will have to experiment with the Picasa program - I am a hopeless klutz - that is Yiddish for something "all thumbs" (in this case for someone "technically challenged").

Your support and comments are invaluable. Thank you very much.

Love and joy to you, Sylvia and yours

I really like these two. They seem playful and innocent, yet poignant at the same time. And they touch something personal in me. :-)
